GameScape began in June of 1998 when Benjamin Bloodworth
founded BigElectronicNetwork.com. The mission was to create a parent site from
which all related web projects would be launched.
In August of 1999, MTGTrading.com was established as a free access dynamic web
database that helps members to catalog their Magic the Gathering trading cards
and trade them with other members.
Big Electronic Network, Inc. (BENI) was born on January 2, 2001 with a vision to
bring a variety of gaming sites under one roof. In May of 2002 GameScape.com
was chosen as the host name for BENI’s growing network of sites.
Eugeni Karpov established camelot-seer.com on 7/4/2002. Camelot Seer is a Dark
Age of Camelot fan site that utilizes XML game data made public by Mythic
Entertainment. An unprecedented level of open trust between Mythic and the
public was forged. It was with mutual admiration that BENI acquired Camelot
Seer two months later.
GameScape continues to strive for excellence and eagerly takes on the dynamic
challenges of the Internet gaming community.
